Before operating or using the motorhome, read this manual and all accompanying component manufacturer documentation. Familiarity with the systems and safety information contained in these materials will help ensure safe operation and maximize the performance and longevity of the motorhome.
About this Manual
This manual describes the operation, maintenance, and care of the MAXVAN conversion components installed on the vehicle.
This manual does not replace the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vehicle owner’s manual. Information relating to the vehicle chassis, engine, transmission, driving controls, safety systems, and other OEM-installed equipment can be found in the OEM documentation provided with the vehicle.
Component Manufacturer Documentation
Many appliances, accessories, and systems installed in the motorhome are manufactured by third-party suppliers. Separate manuals, instructions, and warranty information provided by those manufacturers should be reviewed and retained for future reference.
Where differences exist between this manual and an individual component manufacturer’s documentation, always follow the component manufacturer’s instructions for operation, maintenance, and safety requirements.
Owner Responsibility
The owner is responsible for:
- Understanding the operation of the motorhome and its systems.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance.
- Following all safety instructions and warnings.
- Maintaining records of recommended maintenance and service.

Terminology Reference
Vehicle and Conversion Terms
Conversion – The modifications, systems, furnishings, and equipment installed by MAXVAN to transform the original vehicle into a recreational vehicle.
Chassis – The base vehicle platform supplied by the vehicle manufacturer, including the frame, suspension, drivetrain, steering, and braking systems.
OEM – Abbreviation for “Original Equipment Manufacturer.” Refers to the company that manufactured a vehicle, appliance, component, or system.
Motorhome – The completed recreational vehicle consisting of the OEM chassis and the MAXVAN conversion.
GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) – The maximum allowable weight of the fully loaded motorhome, including occupants, cargo, fluids, and accessories.
GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) – The maximum allowable weight that can be supported by an individual axle.
Water System Terms
Potable Water – Water that is safe for drinking, cooking, food preparation, and personal hygiene.
City Water – A pressurized external water supply connected to the motorhome through the City Water Inlet.
Fresh Water Tank – The onboard water storage tank used to supply potable water throughout the motorhome.

Electrical Terms
Shore Power – External electrical power supplied to the motorhome through the Shore Power connection.
Power Center – The motorhome’s electrical distribution system responsible for managing and distributing electrical power.
12-Volt System – The direct current (DC) electrical system powered by the motorhome’s batteries.
120-Volt System – The alternating current (AC) electrical system powered by Shore Power or the onboard generator.
GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) – A protective electrical device designed to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
Climate and Appliance Terms
Bypass Valve – A valve arrangement used to isolate a component, such as a water heater, from the remainder of a plumbing system.
Low-Point Drain – A drain valve located at the lowest section of the plumbing system to assist with draining and winterization.
Thermostat – A device that automatically regulates heating or cooling operation to maintain a selected temperature.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) – A colorless, odorless, and potentially deadly gas produced by fuel-burning appliances and engines.
General RV Terms
Designated Dump Station – An approved facility intended for the disposal of gray water, black water, or cassette toilet waste.
Approved Service Provider – A repair facility that has been authorized by MAXVAN to perform warranty-related repairs.
Normal Wear and Tear – The expected deterioration of components resulting from ordinary use and aging that is not considered a warrantable defect.
General Care & Maintenance
Cleaning Stainless Steel Surfaces
Stainless steel is used throughout the motorhome for both functional and cosmetic purposes. Over time, fingerprints, water spots, and other signs of normal use may become visible.
To protect the finish, avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, scouring pads, or other materials that may scratch the surface. Clean stainless steel surfaces using a stainless steel cleaner or a mild cleaning solution such as warm water with dish soap or diluted vinegar.
To clean stainless steel surfaces:
- Apply the cleaning solution to a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge.
- Gently wipe the surface to remove dirt, fingerprints, and residue.
- Wipe the surface dry immediately using a separate clean, dry cloth.
NOTE: Always test unfamiliar cleaning products on an inconspicuous area before applying them to visible surfaces.
Cleaning Floors
The vinyl flooring used throughout the motorhome is durable, water-resistant, and designed for easy cleaning.
To clean the floor:
- Remove loose dirt, dust, and debris.
- Clean the floor using warm water and a mild soap solution.
- Use a soft brush or mop as necessary to remove stubborn dirt.
- Remove any remaining cleaning solution with a mop or towel.
- Dry the floor thoroughly.
- Open the side door and rear doors when practical to promote ventilation and drying.
WARNING: Avoid pouring excessive amounts of water directly onto the floor. Standing water may penetrate seams, joints, or openings and could result in damage to interior components or hidden structures.
Before Every Trip
Before operating the motorhome, perform the following inspections and checks:
- Verify all windows, roof vents, and exterior access doors are closed and latched.
- Ensure all utility connections, including power cords, water hoses, sewer hoses, and cable connections, have been disconnected and properly stored.
- Verify the refrigerator door, storage drawers, and cabinets are secured.
- Confirm the adjustable table is secured, removed, or stored properly.
- Ensure loose cargo and personal belongings are properly secured.
- Check that the fresh water, gray water, and cassette toilet systems are prepared for travel.
- Verify the awning windows are fully closed and locked.
- Check the condition and inflation pressure of all tires, including the spare tire if equipped.
- Inspect under the vehicle for fluid leaks or other visible abnormalities.
- Verify exterior lighting is functioning properly, including headlights, turn signals, brake lights, and marker lights.
- Test carbon monoxide, smoke, and propane detectors according to their manufacturer’s instructions.
- Verify the house battery system and vehicle battery are adequately charged.
- Confirm all occupants are properly seated and wearing seat belts before vehicle movement.
- Verify the Generator, Water Heater, Cooktop, and other appliances not intended for operation during travel are turned OFF.
- Walk around the vehicle and inspect for any hazards, obstacles, open compartments, or loose equipment.
NOTE: Performing a brief pre-trip inspection before each departure can help identify potential safety concerns, prevent equipment damage, and reduce the likelihood of roadside issues.
Periodic Maintenance
In addition to the maintenance requirements specified by the vehicle manufacturer, the motorhome conversion components require periodic inspection and maintenance.
Every Three Months
- Operate the generator under electrical load for approximately 30 minutes to help maintain lubrication and fuel system condition.
- Check the generator hour meter and perform maintenance according to the generator manufacturer’s recommendations.
- The first generator oil change is typically required after the first 20 hours of operation. Thereafter, change the oil every 150 operating hours or annually, whichever occurs first. Refer to the generator manufacturer’s documentation for complete maintenance requirements.
Every Six Months or 6,000 Miles
- Inspect the underside of the vehicle for damage caused by road debris, curbs, speed bumps, or other obstacles.
- Inspect undercoated surfaces for scratches, chips, or exposed metal.
- Repair damaged undercoating promptly using a compatible undercoating product to help prevent corrosion.
NOTE: Maintaining the condition of the undercoating may be required to preserve corrosion warranty coverage. Refer to Warranty Information > Warranty Coverage Conditions for additional information.
Annually
- Inspect all exterior body seams, joints, and sealed penetrations for signs of deterioration, separation, cracking, or damage.
- Remove and replace deteriorated sealants using appropriate automotive or RV-grade sealants.
- Inspect exterior windows, doors, utility penetrations, lighting fixtures, and roof-mounted equipment for signs of water intrusion or seal failure.
WARNING: Failure to maintain exterior seals may result in water intrusion and subsequent damage that may not be covered under warranty.
General Safety Information
Please make sure to read this entire manual, as well as the OEM manual that came with your vehicle before operating this motorhome. Manuals for installed accessories are included with the motorhome. Refer to the accessory’s respective manual for further safety information.
WARNING: Never top off at the gas pump! Doing so will cause damage to the evaporative system.
Safe Vehicle Operation
Operating a motorhome requires constant attention, sound judgment, and the ability to react quickly to changing road and traffic conditions.
WARNING: Reduce speed for speed bumps, road irregularities, low bridges, and corners. Since the floor of the motorhome is lowered and the roof is extended, damage can occur to the vehicle if precautions are not taken.
Always Secure Persons & Cargo Before Driving
Occupants must wear seat belts at all times whenever the vehicle is in motion. Prior to vehicle operation, ensure that all loose items, cargo, and equipment are properly secured to prevent movement during travel.
WARNING: Never leave your seat while vehicle is in motion. Being unsecured inside the vehicle while it is in motion could result in serious injury or death in the event of a collision or sudden vehicle maneuver.
Seat belts should be inspected regularly for signs of wear, fraying, cuts, damage, or deterioration. If any seat belt shows evidence of damage or excessive wear, discontinue use immediately and replace the affected assembly before operating the vehicle.
WARNING: Failure to maintain seat belts in proper condition may reduce occupant protection and could result in serious injury or death in the event of a collision or sudden vehicle maneuver.
Occupant Seat Travel Position and Air Bag Safety
Any driver or passenger seat equipped with a swivel mechanism must be fully latched and locked in the forward-facing travel position before operating the vehicle. The vehicle’s occupant restraint systems, including seat belts and supplemental restraint systems (air bags), are designed and tested for use with occupants seated in the designated forward-facing position.
Occupying a seat in a rear-facing, side-facing, partially rotated, or otherwise non-approved position may prevent the seat belt and air bag systems from providing the intended level of occupant protection during a collision. Air bag deployment when an occupant is not seated in the proper forward-facing position may result in improper restraint, increased injury severity, or death.
WARNING: Do not operate the vehicle if any swivel seat is rotated, partially latched, unlocked, or otherwise not secured in the forward-facing travel position. Failure to ensure that all occupant seats are properly positioned and locked before vehicle operation may result in property damage, serious injury, or death.
Never Drive Under the Influence
Safe operation depends on both a properly maintained vehicle and a capable driver.
- Do not allow fatigue, medication, illness, or impairment to affect your ability to drive.
- Plan trips to allow adequate time for rest and breaks.
- Review state, provincial, and local regulations that may apply to motorhome operation, parking, occupancy, towing, and equipment requirements.
- Ensure all drivers understand the vehicle’s operating characteristics and safety systems.
Do not drive or operate the motorhome while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, or any medication that may impair judgment, coordination, reaction time, vision, or awareness.
Even small amounts of alcohol or certain medications can adversely affect driving ability and significantly increase the risk of collisions, injury, or death.
WARNING: Driving while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or medication can result in loss of vehicle control, property damage, serious injury, or death.
Some prescription and over-the-counter medications may cause:
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Slowed reaction time
- Impaired judgment
- Blurred vision
Always read medication labels and consult your physician or pharmacist if you are uncertain whether it is safe to operate a vehicle.
Follow Applicable Laws
Motorhome owners and operators are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, provincial, local, and campground regulations.
These regulations may include requirements related to:
- Driver licensing
- Seat belt use
- Occupant safety
- Vehicle dimensions and weight limits
- Towing equipment
- Parking and overnight occupancy
- Generator operation
- Wastewater disposal
- Open flames and fire safety
Laws and regulations vary by jurisdiction and may change over time. It is the owner’s and operator’s responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable requirements.
WARNING: Failure to comply with applicable laws and regulations may result in fines, vehicle impoundment, loss of driving privileges, property damage, serious injury, or death.
Fire Safety Precautions
Fire can spread rapidly in a recreational vehicle. The best way to protect occupants is through prevention, early detection, and prompt evacuation when necessary.
General Fire Prevention Tips
- Never leave cooking appliances unattended while in use.
- Keep combustible materials away from cooking surfaces, heaters, and other heat-producing equipment.
- Use only approved electrical devices and avoid overloading electrical circuits.
- Turn off appliances and cooking equipment when not in use.
- Properly store flammable liquids and aerosol products.
- Regularly inspect propane, fuel, and electrical systems for signs of damage or leaks.
- Ensure all occupants know the locations of emergency exits and the fire extinguisher.
If a Fire Occurs
- Remain calm and assess the situation quickly.
- Alert all occupants immediately.
- Evacuate the motorhome if the fire cannot be controlled safely and immediately.
- Move a safe distance away from the vehicle.
- Contact emergency services as soon as possible.
- Never re-enter the motorhome until emergency responders determine it is safe.
Kitchen, Grease, and Cooking Oil Fires
Cooking is one of the most common causes of RV fires. Grease and cooking oils can ignite suddenly and burn intensely.
WARNING: NEVER Use Water on a Grease or Oil Fire. Applying water to burning grease or cooking oil can cause the fire to spread violently and may result in serious injury, burns, or property damage.
If a Small Cooking Fire Occurs
If it is safe to do so:
- Turn off the heat source.
- Smother flames by covering the pan with a metal lid, baking sheet, or other non-combustible cover.
- Leave the cover in place until the pan has completely cooled.
- Keep combustible materials away from the area.
Do Not
- Do not move a flaming pan.
- Do not attempt to carry burning cookware outside.
- Do not use water, ice, or wet towels on grease or oil fires.
- Do not place yourself at risk attempting to fight a fire that is growing or spreading.
Fire Extinguisher
Your motorhome is equipped with a portable fire extinguisher for emergency use.
The fire extinguisher is mounted at the base of the passenger-side B-pillar, near the front passenger seating area. Familiarize yourself with its location before traveling and ensure it remains readily accessible at all times.
Refer to the operating instructions and safety information printed directly on the fire extinguisher for proper operation, inspection, maintenance, and limitations.
Before each trip:
- Verify that the extinguisher is securely mounted.
- Ensure access to the extinguisher is not blocked by personal items, luggage, or accessories.
- Inspect the extinguisher periodically according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Replace or service the extinguisher if it is damaged, discharged, or past its service interval.
Use of the Fire Extinguisher
A fire extinguisher may be effective only for certain small, contained fires when used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
NOTE: Always read and follow the instructions printed on the fire extinguisher. Extinguishers have limitations and may not be suitable for all fire situations.
If the fire does not extinguish immediately, continues to grow, or smoke conditions become hazardous, evacuate the motorhome immediately and contact emergency services.
Fuel & Electrical Fires
Fuel Fires
- If safe to do so, shut off the fuel supply.
- Evacuate the area if a fuel leak is suspected.
- Do not operate electrical switches or create sparks near a suspected fuel leak.
- Contact emergency personnel if a fire involves fuel systems or equipment.
Electrical Fires
- Disconnect shore power if it is safe to do so.
- Turn off generators and applicable electrical sources when possible.
- Never use water on energized electrical equipment.
- Evacuate if the fire cannot be controlled immediately.
Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Your motorhome is equipped with safety detectors designed to provide early warning of dangerous conditions.
- Test smoke, carbon monoxide, and propane alarms regularly.
- Replace batteries as recommended by the detector manufacturer.
- Never disable or remove safety alarms.
- Investigate all alarm activations immediately.
Emergency Preparedness
All occupants should be familiar with:
- The location of the fire extinguisher.
- Emergency exit locations and operation.
- Evacuation procedures.
- Emergency contact information.
WARNING: Personal safety is always the highest priority. If a fire involves fuel, propane, electrical systems, rapidly spreading flames, heavy smoke, or any situation that appears unsafe, evacuate immediately and call emergency services.
Review fire safety procedures periodically so all occupants understand what to do in an emergency.
Exterior Hookups
The motorhome is equipped with an exterior utility center that provides convenient access to external water, electrical, and signal connections when parked.
The exterior hookups are located at the left rear of the motorhome and include:
- City Water Inlet
- 30-Amp Shore Power Inlet
- Coaxial Signal Inlet
- Dual 15-Amp GFCI-Protected Convenience Outlets
The hookup area has been designed to consolidate commonly used utility connections into a single location for simplified campsite setup and operation.
NOTE: Always verify compatibility between the motorhome and the external utility source before making any connection.
Before Driving: Verify that all utility cords, hoses, cables, adapters, and accessories have been disconnected, properly stored, and any service compartment doors are securely closed and latched.
WARNING: Failure to disconnect utility connections before moving the vehicle may result in damage to the motorhome, campground equipment, utility connections, property damage, serious injury, or death.
City Water Inlet
The City Water Inlet provides a direct connection to a pressurized potable water supply, allowing the motorhome’s plumbing system to operate without using water from the Fresh Water Tank or Water Pump.
Operating Instructions
- Verify the water source is potable (safe for drinking).
- Install an approved water pressure regulator on the water supply hose.
- Connect the hose to the city water source.
- Connect the opposite end of the hose to the City Water Inlet.
- Slowly open the water supply and inspect for leaks.
When connected to city water, operation of the onboard water pump is generally not required.
Safety Information
WARNING: Connect only to potable water sources intended for drinking water use.
30-Amp Shore Power Inlet
The 30-Amp Shore Power Inlet allows the motorhome to receive 120-volt AC power from a compatible external electrical source.
When connected to Shore Power, the electrical system can operate compatible AC-powered appliances while also providing power to the motorhome’s charging and distribution systems.
Operating Instructions
- Verify the power source is compatible with a 30-amp RV electrical system.
- Inspect the cord and connectors for damage.
- Connect the Shore Power cord to the motorhome.
- Connect the opposite end to the campground or utility power source.
- Verify proper system operation.
Safety Information
WARNING: Improper electrical connections may result in electrical shock, fire, equipment damage, serious injury, or death.
WARNING: Never connect the motorhome to an incompatible electrical source.
Coaxial Inlet
The Coaxial Inlet allows an external television signal source to be connected to the motorhome’s multimedia system.
Typical signal sources may include:
- Campground cable television service
- External antenna systems
- Compatible signal distribution systems
Operating Instructions
- Connect a compatible coaxial cable to the external signal source.
- Connect the opposite end to the motorhome’s Coaxial Inlet.
- Configure the television or multimedia display according to the signal source being used.
- Perform a channel scan if required.
Dual 15-Amp Convenience Outlets
The exterior hookups area includes two 120-volt, 15-amp convenience outlets for powering compatible outdoor equipment and accessories.
These outlets are energized when either:
- Shore Power is connected
- The onboard generator is operating
The convenience outlets are intended for temporary outdoor power needs and may be used with compatible electrical devices within the outlet ratings.
Operating Instructions
- Verify Shore Power or generator power is available.
- Connect the electrical device to the outlet.
- Confirm proper device operation.
- Disconnect equipment when no longer needed.
Safety Information
- Use only outdoor-rated electrical equipment when operating outside the motorhome.
- Do not exceed the electrical rating of the outlet.
- Keep plugs and cords protected from standing water.
- Disconnect damaged equipment immediately.
WARNING: Outdoor electrical connections may present a shock hazard when exposed to moisture. Do not use damaged cords, plugs, or equipment.
WARNING: Excessive electrical loads may trip circuit protection devices and could damage connected equipment.
Electrical Power Systems
Many of the motorhome’s accessories are connected to the electrical system. The electrical system features a main power switch and power center.
Lithium Batteries
Your motorhome is equipped with lithium batteries that supply power to the vehicle’s 12-volt house systems and accessories.
These batteries provide a total nominal capacity of 200Ah at 12 volts and are designed to deliver reliable power for off-grid operation, camping, and daily use of the motorhome’s 12-volt equipment.
The lithium battery system powers house accessories such as:
- Interior and exterior lighting
- Water pump
- Ventilation fans
- Refrigeration systems (if equipped)
- Control panels and monitoring systems
- USB charging ports and 12V outlets
- Other installed 12-volt accessories
NOTE: Engine starting functions, if equipped with a separate chassis battery, are independent of the house battery system.

Operating Instructions
The lithium battery bank stores energy supplied by approved charging sources such as:
- Shore Power charging systems
- Integrated inverter/chargers
- Solar charging systems (if equipped)
- Vehicle charging systems
For best performance and service life:
- Recharge the batteries as soon as practical after heavy use.
- Avoid unnecessary high-current loads when battery capacity is low.
- Monitor battery state of charge using the installed battery monitoring system.
- Use only charging equipment approved for lithium battery charging.
Actual runtime and performance depends on:
- Battery state of charge
- Connected electrical loads
- Ambient temperature
- Charging conditions
- Battery age and condition
Heavy electrical loads will reduce available runtime, while charging sources can extend operating time.
NOTE: Battery management systems may automatically limit charging or discharging under certain temperature conditions to protect the batteries.
The battery monitoring system provides information regarding battery status and system performance.
Typical information may include:
- State of charge (SOC)
- Battery voltage
- Charge and discharge current
- Remaining capacity
- System alerts or fault notifications
Regularly monitor battery status, especially during extended off-grid use.
Care & Maintenance
Lithium batteries require significantly less maintenance than traditional lead-acid batteries; however, periodic inspection and cleaning is still important.
Periodically inspect the battery compartment and connections for:
- Loose terminals
- Damaged cables
- Corrosion or contamination
- Physical damage to battery cases
- Moisture intrusion
Cleaning information:
- Keep battery terminals and surrounding areas clean and dry.
- Remove dust and debris as necessary.
- Do not use excessive water or cleaning solvents on battery components.
If the motorhome will be stored for an extended period:
- Ensure the batteries are adequately charged prior to storage.
- Follow the battery manufacturer’s recommendations for storage state of charge.
- Disconnect or switch off unnecessary loads that may discharge the batteries during storage.
- Periodically check battery status during extended storage periods.
Safety Information
- Never short-circuit battery terminals.
- Never replace batteries with units that do not meet the original specifications.
- Follow all instructions provided by the battery manufacturer.
WARNING: The lithium battery system contains potentially hazardous amounts of stored electrical energy. Failure to follow proper safety procedures may result in equipment damage, fire, serious injury, or death.
Shore Power
Your motorhome is equipped with a 30-amp, 120-volt Shore Power connection that allows the vehicle to receive electrical power from a compatible external power source when parked.
The Shore Power receptacle is located at the rear of the motorhome.
When connected to a properly wired 30-amp Shore Power source, the electrical system can:
- Supply power to the motorhome’s AC electrical system.
- Provide power to onboard 12-volt accessories through the Power Center.
- Passively charge the onboard house batteries.
- Continue supplying power to most 12-volt accessories even if the house batteries are disconnected using the Battery Power Switch.
Operating Instructions
To connect to Shore Power:
- Verify the external power source is compatible with the motorhome’s electrical requirements.
- Inspect the Shore Power cord and receptacle for damage.
- Fully insert and secure the Shore Power connector.
- Confirm proper operation of connected electrical systems.
Care & Maintenance
- Inspect the Shore Power receptacle, cord, and connectors regularly for wear, corrosion, discoloration, or physical damage.
- Keep the receptacle clean and dry.
- Install the protective cover securely after disconnecting Shore Power.
- Replace damaged cords, plugs, or connectors immediately.

Front Cabin Window Insulation & Privacy Shades
Your motorhome comes with a three-piece front cabin window insulation and privacy shade kit that covers the windshield, driver’s window, and passenger’s window. These are used to block out light and, create privacy in the van.
Operation Instructions
- Unfold the shades and place them on the inside of the window with the foil side facing out.
- The windshield panel is held in place using the sun visors put in the down position.
- The side window shades are held in place using built-in magnets.
Care & Maintenance
- Carefully bend and fold shades for storage.
- Do not stack luggage or other items on the panels.
Safety Information
- Carefully unfold the window shades as they are stored under tension by their wire frame.
- Do not drive the motorhome with any of the window shades installed.
Water Systems
Your motorhome’s water systems are designed to:
- Intake and store fresh water.
- Regulate water pressure and temperature.

The water system is pressurized by:
- An external water supply when connected.
- The water pump when not connected to an external water supply.
A water pressure regulator is installed on the motorhome’s water inlet. The water pump also regulates the water pressure when in use. Do not modify or adjust these pressure regulators to exceed 55 PSI.

Fresh Water Tank
Your motorhome comes equipped with a Fresh Water Tank (25 gallon capacity). When the motorhome is not connected to an external water supply, the Fresh Water Tank becomes the supply for:
- Kitchen Sink
- Washer Hookups
- Wet Bath Shower
- Wet Bath Sink
- Wet Bath Toilet
- Water Heater
- Water Pump
Operating Instructions
To check the water tank’s level, use the water monitoring system.
NOTE: Once the Fresh Water Tank reaches capacity, excess water will overflow and drain beneath the motorhome. This is normal operation.
Inside the motorhome is a valve labeled Fresh Tank. When set to position:
- Tank Fill – Fills the Fresh Water Tank when connected to an external water supply.
- Off – Stops externally supplied water from entering the Fresh Water Tank.
To fill the Fresh Water Tank:
- Locate the Fresh Tank valve inside the motorhome and turn the valve to Off if not already.
- Locate the motothome’s external City Water Inlet, unscrew its cap then connect a water hose between the water supply spigot and motorhome.
- Turn the water supply valve ON, then turn the Fresh Tank valve to Tank Fill.
- Check the Fresh Water Tank’s current level using the tank monitor, then turn the Fresh Tank valve to Off when at the desired fill level.
The Fresh Water Tank can be drained using either of the following methods:
- Pumping water from the tank through the plumbing system using the water pump.
- Opening the Fresh Water Tank drain valve located on the underside of the tank (beneath the vehicle).
Using the water pump method:
This method allows water to be discharged through the motorhome’s plumbing fixtures.
- Verify the Gray Water Tank has sufficient capacity to accept the discharged water.
- Verify the motorhome has an adequate 12-volt power supply.
- Turn the water pump ON.
- Open one or more faucets or fixtures and allow the water pump to discharge water from the Fresh Water Tank.
- Continue until the desired water level is reached or the tank is empty.
- Turn the water pump OFF when draining is complete.
NOTE: Draining the Fresh Water Tank through the plumbing system will direct water into the Gray Water Tank.
Using the tank’s drain valve:
This method allows water to be discharged directly beneath the vehicle without passing through the plumbing system.
- Park the motorhome on a reasonably level surface.
- Locate the Fresh Water Tank drain valve located on the underside of the tank (beneath the vehicle).
- Position the vehicle in an area where water discharge is permitted.
- Open the drain valve and allow the tank to drain completely.
- Close the drain valve after draining is complete.
NOTE: Depending on water level and ambient conditions, complete draining of the Fresh Water Tank may take several minutes.

To check the water tank’s level, use the water monitoring system.
NOTE: If the Gray Water Tank reaches maximum capacity, water may back up into connected plumbing fixtures or discharge through the tank venting system. Empty the Gray Water Tank before it reaches full capacity.
Draining the Gray Water Tank:
- Locate the waste valve outside the motorhome, then remove the cap on the drainage spout and connect an appropriate drainage hose to the spout.
- Place the drainage hose end in a gray water approved dumping zone.
- Grab the waste valve T-handle and pull out to open the internal blade valve and drain the contents of the Gray Water Tank.
- Inside the motorhome, run clean water through a sink or shower to help clear the Gray Water Tank.
- Close the waste valve using the T-handle.
- Detach the drainage hose from the waste valve spout and replace its cap.
NOTE: Remember to close the waste valve before driving the motorhome.

The interior opening is secured with flexible cargo netting, while the exterior opening is secured by a locking access door.

To access the compartment from outside:

- An integrated crossbar-style ON/OFF toggle located on the shower head.
Water temperature and flow are controlled using the hot and cold water handles, while the shower head toggle allows water flow to be started or stopped at the wand.
NOTE: The shower head ON/OFF toggle is intended for temporary water flow control while showering and is not a substitute for turning off the faucet handles when the shower is not in use.
Operating Instructions
- Open the hot and cold water handles as needed to achieve the desired water temperature.
- Use caution when adjusting water temperature, particularly when hot water is available from the Water Heater.
- Move the crossbar-style toggle on the shower head to the ON position to allow water flow from the wand.
- Move the toggle to the OFF position to temporarily stop water flow while maintaining the selected temperature settings.
- When finished showering, close both the hot and cold water handles completely.
NOTE: For best water conservation when dry camping, use the shower head toggle to temporarily stop water flow while lathering.

When stowed, the curtain folds compactly and is secured using the integrated retaining strap.

Your motorhome comes with a hand-crafted wooden shower grate. With proper care and maintenance, the shower grate is designed to provide many years of service. The shower grate is not only aesthetic but also functional in providing a non-slip water-resistant surface for the shower.
Operating Instructions
The shower grate can be lifted straight out of the shower pan for maintenance or gaining access to the shower pan and drain beneath the grate.
Care & Maintenance
Periodically:
- Oil the wooden shower grate with Teak oil to protect and beautify the wood.
- Inspect the rubber feet that are fastened on the underside of the shower grate for wear and replace as needed.
Safety Information
Always ensure the wooden shower grate is properly installed before using the shower. The shower pan beneath the grate is recessed below the surrounding floor and features a smooth stainless steel surface. When wet, the stainless steel surface may become slippery and increase the risk of slips and falls. In addition, the recessed shower pan may create a tripping hazard when entering, exiting, or moving within the shower area.
WARNING: Do not use the shower if the grate is damaged, improperly installed, or removed. Failure to use the shower grate as intended may result in slips, falls, serious injury, or death.

Multimedia Display
The motorhome is equipped with a 24-inch multimedia display that provides entertainment and media playback capabilities.

The multimedia display operates from the motorhome’s Power Center (12-volt electricity).

Swivel Table
Your motorhome is equipped with a removable and adjustable table system that may be installed in multiple locations throughout the living area.
The table may be positioned:
- Adjacent to the driver-side bed
- Beside the front passenger swivel seat
The system provides a flexible work, dining, and meal preparation surface.
Your motorhome comes with a versatile table system. There are two locations where the table can be installed. The first location is on the side of the driver side bed. The second location is beside the passenger front swiveling seat. To move the table lift up the black lever to loosen the post and slide it up the mount until it comes off. To install the table, slide the table leg post into the receiver bracket, then push the black lever to lock the post at the desired height. The table needs to be secured before the vehicle goes in motion otherwise the table could move and hit something. To do this make sure the 3 black levers are tightened.
- RV Side Table and MOD Leg set allows for 360 degree swivel of the table top for easy positioning where you need it. The wall mounting plate allows for placement in areas with tight floor space.
- The system is sized to function as an extra dining and meal prep surface or used as a mobile office desk.
- Silver MOD leg set fit any décor providing great quality and performance for indoor use that will look great for years.
- The solid wood, high-end cabinet core and durable vac-formed decorative top provide a durable structural surface. The MOD leg offers adjustment handle clamps that are easy to tighten and hold the position.

Operating Instructions
The table system may be installed in either of the designated mounting locations within the motorhome.
To remove the table assembly:
- Lift and loosen the locking lever located on the table leg.
- Slide the table leg upward and out of the mounting receiver.
To install the table assembly:
- Insert the table leg into the desired receiver bracket.
- Adjust the table to the desired height.
- Tighten the locking lever to secure the table leg.
The table top can be rotated and positioned as needed for dining, work, or general use. Two locking levers located on the table arm control the rotational movement and tension of the table assembly.
For compact storage, the table assembly can be disassembled into separate components.
NOTE: The table should be installed in a mounting receiver before disassembly. This provides support for the assembly and reduces the risk of component damage..
To disassemble the table assembly:
- Loosen the locking levers located on the table arm.
- Remove the table top from the arm assembly.
- Remove the arm assembly from the table leg.
- Loosen the locking lever located on the leg.
- Remove the table leg from the mounting receiver.
Store all table components in a secure location to prevent movement or damage during vehicle operation.
Care & Maintenance

Sofa Mattress

The mattresses are compatible with standard Twin or Twin XL bedding.

To remove a mattress cover:
- Unzip the cover completely.
- Carefully remove the foam cushion from the cover.
- Reinstall by reversing the process.
A mattress protector may be used if additional protection is desired.

Winterization
If the motorhome will be stored, left unattended, or operated in environments where temperatures may reach or fall below 32°F (0°C), the water system must be properly winterized to prevent freeze damage.
Water expands when it freezes. Water trapped inside plumbing lines, valves, pumps, filters, tanks, fixtures, and appliances may cause cracked fittings, burst plumbing, water leaks, and component failure.
WARNING: Failure to properly winterize the motorhome may result in costly damage that is not covered under warranty.
NOTE: The winterization procedure described in this section is intended for the MAXVAN plumbing system. Always follow the appliance manufacturer’s winterization instructions for each installed appliance.
Required Materials
- Non-toxic RV/Marine antifreeze
- Blow-out plug compatible with the city water connection (such as Camco® 36143 or equivalent)
- Oil-less air compressor
- Air pressure regulator set to a maximum of 50 PSI
- Safety glasses
- Five-gallon bucket
WARNING: Use only non-toxic RV/Marine antifreeze intended for potable water systems. Never use automotive antifreeze in the motorhome’s plumbing system.
Preparations
- Park the motorhome on a reasonably level surface.
- Connect the motorhome to shore power.
- Turn off the water heater and allow it to cool completely.
- Verify all water fixtures are accessible.
- Verify the Battery Power Switch is ON if the water pump will be used to drain the fresh water tank.
- Wear safety glasses.
Winterization Procedure
Step 1 — Drain the Gray Water Tank
The gray water tank should be emptied before draining the remainder of the plumbing system.
The winterization process will discharge water from the plumbing system into the gray water tank. If the gray water tank is allowed to become full, drainage from sinks, showers, and plumbing lines may be restricted, preventing complete evacuation of the water system.
Detailed instructions for emptying the gray water tank are provided in the motorhome’s manual under:
Water Systems > Gray Water Tank > Operating Instructions
- Connect a drainage hose and place the hose outlet in an approved dump station.
- Open the gray water gate valve and drain the tank completely.
- Close the gray water gate valve.
Step 2 — Drain the Fresh Water Tank
The fresh water tank can be emptied in either of the following ways:
- Pumping water out through the shower or sink fixtures.
- Opening the fresh water tank drain valve located on the underside of the tank.
If the water pump is used for draining, the pump must be powered ON during this process.
Regardless of the draining method used, the water pump strainer must be drained to remove any remaining water that could freeze and cause damage.
Detailed instructions for emptying the fresh water tank are provided in the motorhome’s manual under:
Water Systems > Fresh Water Tank > Operating Instructions
- Drain the fresh water tank completely.
- Empty any water remaining in the water pump strainer.
- Turn the water pump OFF.
NOTE: Remember to close the fresh water tank drain valve if opened.
Step 3 — Empty the Cassette Toilet Cartridge
The cassette toilet cartridge should be emptied before continuing with winterization.
The winterization process will introduce water from the toilet bowl into the cassette tank. If the cartridge is already near capacity, additional water may create handling difficulties later in the procedure.
Detailed instructions for emptying the cartridge are provided in the motorhome’s manual under:
Wet Bath > Cassette Toilet > Operating Instructions
- Remove the cassette cartridge.
- Empty the cartridge at an approved dump station.
- Reinstall the cartridge into the toilet.
Step 4 — Drain the Water Heater
The combination air and water heater is located beneath the driver-side bed. Remove the mattress and open the access panel closest to the kitchen to gain access to the unit.
Water supply valves are installed throughout the heater plumbing system. These quarter-turn ball valves rotate 90 degrees between ON and OFF positions.
- When a valve is open (ON), the handle will be parallel to the plumbing line.
- When a valve is closed (OFF), the handle will be perpendicular to the plumbing line.
WARNING: Do not drain the water heater while water is hot or under pressure. Allow the unit to cool completely before service.
*Truma Water Heater Unit Equipped Motorhomes*
The Truma combination heater must not be pressurized with compressed air during winterization.
A dedicated valve arrangement is provided to allow the water heater tank to be drained and isolated from the remainder of the plumbing system.
The system allows you to:
- Drain the water heater tank.
- Bypass the water heater tank during plumbing blowout procedures.
WARNING: Introducing compressed air directly into the Truma water heater may damage the unit.
To drain the water heater:
- Fully open or remove the XL Drawer to access the hot and cold plumbing low-point drains located at floor level beneath the drawer.
- Open the pressure relief valve (yellow lever) located on the blue plumbing line.
- Open the valve on the hot water (red) plumbing line.
- Allow the tank to drain completely. This process may take approximately 10 minutes depending on conditions.
- Close the valve on the hot water (red) plumbing line.
- Close the pressure relief valve on the blue plumbing line.
After the tank has been drained, the water heater must be isolated from the plumbing system before compressed air is introduced into the water lines.
Three valves must be closed to complete the bypass procedure.
- Turn OFF the valve where hot water exits the heater unit.
- Turn OFF the fresh water supply valve feeding the heater.
- Turn OFF the hot water supply distribution valve.
*Aqua-Hot Water Heater Unit Equipped Motorhomes*
The low-point drain valves are located at floor level within the compartment. Several plumbing valves may be present; only the floor-level valves serve as low-point drains.
- Disconnect the two hot-air ducts from their vents to gain access to both low-point valves.
- Open the valve on the hot water (red) plumbing line.
- Open the valve on the fresh water (blue) plumbing line.
- Allow the system to drain completely. This process may take approximately 10 minutes.
- Close the valve on the hot water (red) plumbing line.
- Close the valve on the fresh water (blue) plumbing line.
Step 5 — Pressurize the Water System
Compressed air is used to remove residual water from the plumbing system.
- Set the air compressor regulator to a maximum output pressure of 50 PSI before connecting it to the motorhome.
- Install the blow-out plug into the city water inlet.
- Connect the air compressor to the blow-out plug using an air hose.
WARNING: Never exceed 50 PSI. Excessive air pressure may damage plumbing fittings, fixtures, valves, pumps, and appliances.
Step 6 — Purge Water from the Plumbing System
The next step is to remove any remaining water from the plumbing system.
Open each fixture individually and allow compressed air to move through the plumbing until only air exits the fixture.
- Move the fresh water fill valve to the Tank Fill position for approximately 15 seconds, then return it to the OFF position.
- Flush the toilet until no water is discharged.
- Open the shower faucet cold side until only air exits, then close it.
- Open the shower faucet hot side until only air exits, then close it.
- Open the vanity sink cold side until only air exits, then close it.
- Open the vanity sink hot side until only air exits, then close it.
- Open the kitchen sink cold side until only air exits, then close it.
- Open the kitchen sink hot side until only air exits, then close it.
If an appliance, accessory, or fixture is connected to the washer hookups, turn both the hot and cold hookup valves OFF, then disconnect the water supply hoses from the hookups before proceeding.
- Place a bucket beneath the washer hookups to catch any remaining water.
- Open the cold water hookup valve until only air exits, then close the valve.
- Open the hot water hookup valve until only air exits, then close the valve.
Continue opening fixtures until no visible water discharge remains and only air exits each outlet.
Step 7 — Remove the Cassette Toilet Cartridge
The cassette toilet cartridge can now be removed for storage.
- Empty any remaining water from the toilet bowl into the cartridge.
- Remove the cartridge.
- Empty the cartridge at an approved dump station.
- Store the cartridge in a location where it will not be exposed to freezing temperatures.
Step 8 — Drain the Gray Water Tank Again
Most of the water removed from the plumbing system will have entered the gray water tank and should now be drained.
Detailed instructions for emptying the gray water tank are provided in the motorhome’s manual under:
Water Systems > Gray Water Tank > Operating Instructions
- Connect a drainage hose and place the outlet in an approved dump station.
- Open the gray water gate valve and drain the tank completely.
- Close the gray water gate valve.
- Disconnect the drainage hose and reinstall the termination cap.
Step 9 — Protect the Plumbing
This motorhome is designed to be winterized using compressed air. However, drain traps may retain small amounts of water after the plumbing system has been purged. These drain traps discharge directly into the gray water tank and may safely receive RV/Marine antifreeze. The antifreeze helps protect drain traps from freeze damage.
WARNING: Never introduce RV/Marine antifreeze into the fresh water tank, City Water Inlet, or any other potable water supply connection. Exposure to antifreeze may damage water system components, including certain water heaters, valves, pumps, filters, and plumbing fittings.
Pour approximately 1 quart (0.95 L) of non-toxic RV/Marine antifreeze into each drain.
- Pour antifreeze into the shower drain.
- Pour antifreeze into the vanity sink drain.
- Pour antifreeze into the kitchen sink drain.
Winterization Complete
After the procedure has been completed:
- Disconnect and remove the blow-out plug.
- Verify all fixtures are closed.
- Verify all drain valves have been returned to their intended storage positions.
- Turn off all plumbing-related appliances.
- Store the motorhome in its winterized condition until it is returned to service.
Cold Weather Storage Tip
If electrical power is available at the storage location, a small thermostatically controlled electric space heater may be used to help maintain the interior temperature above freezing.
An interior temperature of approximately 40°F to 45°F (4°C to 7°C) is generally sufficient to help prevent water remaining in plumbing components from freezing.
Ensure the heater is installed and operated in accordance with the heater manufacturer’s instructions. Keep all combustible and flammable materials well away from the heater, maintain proper clearances around the unit, and do not block airflow.
WARNING: A supplemental heater is not a substitute for proper winterization. Power outages, heater malfunctions, or unexpectedly low temperatures may still result in freeze damage. Always winterize the motorhome if freezing conditions are anticipated.
Returning the Water System to Service
Before using the motorhome after winter storage:
- Reinstall and inspect any removed components.
- Fill the fresh water tank with potable water.
- Flush all water lines until any remaining antifreeze is removed.
- Fill the water heater before operating it.
- Sanitize the fresh water system according to the procedure outlined in the motorhome’s manual.
- Inspect the plumbing system for leaks before normal use.
WARNING: Never operate the water heater until the water heater tank has been completely filled with water and all air has been purged from the system.
Disinfecting the Water System
To help ensure safe drinking water, the potable water system should be disinfected under the following conditions:
- Before first use of the motorhome
- After extended periods of non-use
- After suspected contamination of the water system
- Before or after long-term storage
- Whenever water quality is in question
This procedure follows the recommendations of NFPA 1192, Standard on Recreational Vehicles, and is intended to disinfect the fresh water tank and associated plumbing components.
WARNING: Use only potable water and unscented household bleach containing sodium hypochlorite. Do not use scented bleach, splashless bleach, or products containing additional cleaning agents.
Required Materials
Before beginning the disinfection procedure, obtain the following:
- Fresh potable water
- Funnel
- Measuring cup
- Unscented household chlorine bleach (sodium hypochlorite)
- Clean container for mixing the sanitizing solution
Preparing the Sanitizing Solution
- Fill or drain the fresh water tank to approximately three-quarters full.
- Prepare a sanitizing solution by mixing:
- 3/8 cup (90 mL) of unscented household chlorine bleach
- 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water
- Remove the cap from the gravity water fill located beneath the driver-side bed.
- Using a funnel, pour the sanitizing solution into the fresh water tank.
This procedure produces a chlorine concentration of approximately 50 ppm throughout the potable water system.
WARNING: Use only unscented household bleach intended for water disinfection. Products containing fragrances, detergents, or additives may damage plumbing components or contaminate the water system.
Disinfection Procedure
Step 1 — Fill the Fresh Water Tank
Fill the fresh water tank completely with potable water.
Step 2 — Circulate the Sanitizing Solution
- Turn the water pump ON.
- Open each hot and cold water faucet throughout the motorhome.
- Allow water to flow until a noticeable chlorine odor is present at each fixture.
- Close the fixture and repeat for the remaining faucets.
WARNING: Do not flush chlorinated water through the cassette toilet. Chlorine may damage toilet seals and sanitation system components.
Step 3 — Allow the System to Soak
Allow the sanitizing solution to remain in the plumbing system for at least 2 to 4 hours.
Step 4 — Drain the System
- Drain the fresh water tank using the tank drain or water pump.
- Dispose of the chlorinated water in accordance with local regulations.
Step 5 — Refill with Fresh Water
Refill the fresh water tank completely with clean potable water.
Step 6 — Flush the Plumbing System
- Open each hot and cold water faucet.
- Run fresh water through each fixture until the chlorine odor is no longer detectable.
- Repeat as necessary until all traces of chlorine smell and taste have been removed.
Disinfection Complete
Once the chlorine odor has been completely removed from the plumbing system, the potable water system is ready for normal use.
For best water quality:
- Use only potable water from approved sources.
- Sanitize the water system periodically.
- Drain and refresh stored water after extended storage periods.
Safety Information
WARNING: Chlorine bleach is poisonous if misused. Follow the bleach manufacturer’s instructions and avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
WARNING: Never mix chlorine bleach with ammonia, vinegar, or other household chemicals. Hazardous fumes may result.
WARNING: Thoroughly flush the water system after disinfection and before using the water for drinking, cooking, or bathing.
Warranty Information
Adaptive Mobility Systems, Inc., doing business as MAXVAN LLC (“MAXVAN”), is the manufacturer and warrantor of MAXVAN motorhome conversions.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Warranty Period
The warranty period begins on the date of first retail delivery to the original purchaser.
Unless otherwise stated, the warranty period lasts for two (2) years or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
Warranty Effective Date & Revisions

This Limited Conversion Warranty applies to eligible vehicles delivered to the original retail purchaser on or after the effective date shown above.
Warranty Revisions
MAXVAN reserves the right to revise, modify, or discontinue this Limited Conversion Warranty at any time. Such revisions shall apply only to vehicles sold after the effective date of the revision and shall not affect warranty coverage already in effect for vehicles previously sold.
Limited Conversion Warranty
Coverage
MAXVAN warrants to the original retail purchaser that conversion components manufactured and installed by MAXVAN will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period.
Structural metal fabrication installed as part of the conversion is warranted against perforation or loss of structural integrity resulting from rust-through corrosion, subject to the conditions outlined in this warranty.
A defect in workmanship means a condition resulting directly from errors in the manufacture, assembly, fabrication, or installation of conversion components by MAXVAN.
Minor cosmetic variations in paint, fabrics, wood grain, laminates, finishes, plastics, upholstery materials, panel alignment, and other appearance-related characteristics are normal manufacturing variations and are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.
Body paintwork is warranted solely against defects in adhesion for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of first retail delivery.
Components manufactured by third parties and covered by their own manufacturer warranties are excluded from this Limited Conversion Warranty and may be covered separately by the applicable component manufacturer.
Remedy
MAXVAN agrees to repair or replace any covered component determined by MAXVAN to be defective during the applicable warranty period.
It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and follow the warranty procedures established by MAXVAN.
Warranty Coverage Conditions
Corrosion Warranty Requirements
If the vehicle is operated in areas where salt, sand, or other corrosive materials are regularly used on roadways, MAXVAN strongly recommends additional undercoating protection using Ziebart® or an equivalent product.
The vehicle must be inspected according to the maintenance requirements described in this manual as a condition of corrosion warranty coverage.
Owner Responsibilities
The owner is responsible for maintaining records demonstrating compliance with the inspection and maintenance requirements described in the motorhome’s manual.
The owner is responsible for taking reasonable steps to prevent additional damage after a defect or failure is discovered.
Warranty Coverage Limitations
Excluded Vehicle Systems
This warranty does not apply to any part not modified as part of the MAXVAN conversion process or any condition that existed before conversion.
This warranty does not cover components covered by the original vehicle manufacturer, including but not limited to:
- Vehicle frame
- Engine
- Transmission
- Transaxle
- Restraint systems, including seat belts and air bags
- Brakes
- Battery
- Factory heating and air conditioning systems
- Tires
- Ignition systems
- Power sliding doors
- Power rear hatch
- Electronics
- Computer systems
If a factory component is subject to a manufacturer recall, this warranty does not cover additional labor required as a result of the conversion.
This warranty is not intended to replace or substitute any original manufacturer warranty.
Excluded Causes of Damage
This warranty does not apply to failures resulting from:
- Misuse
- Neglect
- Improper maintenance
- Abuse
- Accidents
Repairs, modifications, or alterations performed without prior authorization from MAXVAN may void coverage for the affected component and any resulting damage.
Damage caused by failure to maintain seals, caulking, weatherstripping, windows, doors, roof penetrations, or other owner-maintained components, including resulting water intrusion damage, is not covered.
Damage caused by operation of the vehicle in excess of published GVWR, GAWR, or cargo carrying capacity ratings is not covered.
Damage arising from commercial use, rental use, fleet use, off-road use, racing, emergency service use, or other abnormal use is not covered. MAXVAN reserves the right to deny warranty coverage when such use contributes to the claimed failure.
Cosmetic Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic deterioration
- Fading
- Scratches
- Dents
- Fabric wear
- Seal wear
- Routine maintenance
- Adjustments
This warranty does not cover cosmetic concerns that do not affect the function, safety, structural integrity, weather resistance, or intended operation of the vehicle or component.
Examples include:
- Color variation
- Paint matching
- Gloss variation
- Texture variation
- Wood grain variation
- Material pattern variation
- Upholstery variation
- Panel alignment variations within manufacturing tolerances
- Normal aging or weathering of materials
Exact matching of paint, finishes, fabrics, laminates, wood products, plastics, upholstery, and other appearance-related materials cannot be guaranteed.
MAXVAN’s warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component. Matching or replacement of surrounding non-defective components for cosmetic consistency is not covered.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MAXVAN shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, indirect, or punitive damages arising from any defect in materials or workmanship.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Implied Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the term of this Limited Conversion Warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Warranty Repair Authorization
Pre-Authorization Requirement
MAXVAN reserves the right to inspect the vehicle, review repair estimates, and approve repair methods prior to authorizing warranty work.
Except in the case of emergency repairs necessary to prevent further damage or ensure vehicle safety, repair estimates must be submitted to and approved by MAXVAN prior to repair.
Failure to obtain prior authorization may result in denial of reimbursement.
Emergency Repairs
Emergency repairs are repairs necessary to prevent imminent damage to the vehicle or to address a condition that renders the vehicle unsafe to operate.
Repair Cost Responsibility
MAXVAN shall be responsible only for reasonable and customary labor rates, repair costs, and replacement parts associated with an approved warranty claim.
MAXVAN reserves the right to:
- Provide replacement parts directly
- Specify the source of replacement parts
- Authorize alternative repair methods
- Review repair estimates before authorization
MAXVAN’s warranty obligation is limited to repairing or replacing the defective component.
Upgrades, modifications, redesigns, cosmetic improvements, or customer-requested enhancements are not covered under this warranty.
Warranty Transferability
This Limited Conversion Warranty automatically transfers to subsequent owners during the unexpired portion of the original warranty period.
Warranty Claims
If a warranty claim arises, be prepared to provide:
- Name
- Telephone number
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Current vehicle mileage
- Description of the concern
Claim Procedure
- Contact the MAXVAN Warranty Department at 1-844-240-8962.
- Once warranty eligibility has been verified, a claim number will be assigned and an approved service provider may be recommended. If you wish to use your own repair facility, obtain approval from MAXVAN before repairs begin.
- Bring the vehicle to the approved service provider for diagnosis and repair. Approved warranty repairs may be paid directly to the repair facility or reimbursed to the owner at the sole discretion of MAXVAN.
